On an idyllic sheep farm in Bitterna in the province of Västergötland, we find Bitterna Lamm, founded by Monica and Lars Renström in 1980. The love and care that Monica and Lars lavished on the sheep is the reason for their success and all the impressive awards they have received over the years. Environmental friendliness and extensive natural grazing are key concepts that ensure superb and tasty delicatessen products.
Bitterna Lamm has been owned and run since August 2010 by Anna and Rickard Nordensson, a young couple with broad experience in the food industry. Anna and Rickard’s ambition is to manage Bitterna Lamm to maintain a high level of quality whilst continuously developing both products and the business concept. The farm has a farm shop as well as facilities for eating, living and holding conferences in a tranquil and secluded environment.
